“We hear that last month’s Get It! at the hot Williamsburg gay bar Sugarland was wall-to-wall women. The new monthly party hopes to go weekly in the future, but until then, DJs Soozee, Elli Vader and Lezz Van Halen will be spinning an eclectic fusion of 80s, 90s and electro jams on the last Tuesday of the month. Sugarland’s long, skinny space makes mingling mandatory near the bar, but toward the back, the dance floor opens up and is usually packed. On stage, go-go goddesses Elyse and Angela encourage you to get in the mood while Mila mixes $6 dirty martinis and doles out two-for-one beers and signature shots.
